Delete Your Account

Parivar — Community Family Directory App

You can permanently delete your Parivar account and its associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from within the App (recommended)

  1. Open the Parivar app and sign in.
  2. On the Home screen, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select “Delete my account.”
  4. Read the confirmation, re-authenticate (enter your password, or confirm with Google), and confirm “Delete permanently.”

Your account is deleted immediately and you are returned to the login screen.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the App, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you:

Email nayaniparivarapp@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account.” Please send it from your registered email so we can verify the request. We will process verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Your login / authentication account
  • Your account profile record
  • Photos you uploaded to your member profile
  • The link between your login and your directory entry
  • Your entry in the community family directory (name and family relationships) is retained in an unclaimed state for the community’s genealogical record-keeping — it is no longer linked to a login, and you (or an administrator) may re-claim it later.
  • Limited aggregate technical/diagnostic logs may be retained for a short period for security.
If you would like your directory entry (name / family record) fully removed as well, mention this in your email request and contact your community administrator.
